Easy Panfried Fish Recipe

How to make it

  • If fish fillets are large, cut into 4 serving pieces.
  • Sprinkle both sides of fish with salt and pepper.
  • Beat egg and water until blended.
  • Dip fish into egg, then coat with flour.
  • Heat oil (1/8-inch) in skillet until hot, but not smoking.
  • Fry fish in hot oil over medium heat about 10 minutes, carefully turning once, until brown.

    This was really good and easy to make with ingredients I always have on hand. The Wondra made a nice and crispy breading. I added a picture. Nice post!

    To this fish preparation you may add a spin by adding a chutney or a sauce as topping. I have tried Trader Joe's Sauces with this kid of preparation and it tastes great .. to make it a meal, eat with rice, risotto or just steamed and stir fried vegetables.

    This is actually really good recipe. I sometimes change the flour to bread crumbs wich gives a more crispy surface. Serve with a slice of lemon. Awesome :) Thanks for great post

    You have an incomplete measure of Wondra flour. I assume you meant 1/2 cup.
