Ingredients

1 quart milk

1/2 cup butter

1/3 cup butter for top

1 cup grits(regular)

1 cup grated guyere cheese

1 cup parmesan cheese grated

1 teaspoon salt

1/8 teaspoon pepepr

Directions

Bring milk to a boil

Add 1/2 cup butter, gradually stir in grits

Cook and stir until thick

Remove from heat and add salt & pepper

Beat with mixer at high speed until creamy

Pour into ungreased casserole 13 x 9 x 2 and allow to set in refrigerator overnight

When ready to bake, cut into squares and place like fallen dominoes in greased casserole

Pour 1/3 cup melted buttter over squares and sprinkle with grated cheeses

Bake at 400 degrees F for 35 minutes.

Serves 6
