How to make it

  • Place the mushrooms,onion and garlic in a 5qt. slow cooker. Top with chicken.
  • In a small bowl, combine the tomato paste,broth,wine or additional broth,tapioca,sugar,basil,salt and pepper. Pour over the chicken Cover and cook on low for 5-6 hours or until chicken is tender.
  • Sprinkle with parmesan cheese. Serve with pasta if desired.

    ahh I see that I saw this one already, how my brain gets foggy@! Must be the umm merlot without the chicken I had to have forgotten this wonderful dish I took a peak at....thanks for letting me know that the dish could be made in the oven, I assume a slow oven 0 and I have just the pot for it... thanks again!
