For a great appetizer, this is it. Easy to prepare ahead of time. Serve with fresh Italian bread and some cubed cheese and your ready to go! Always a hit.

Ingredients
  • 2 Lbs Italian Sausage links (sweet or hot)
  • 2 Tbs Olive oil
  • 1 large green pepper
  • 1 large red pepper
  • 1 large sweet onion
  • 3 Tbs Chopped or minced garlic
  • 2 Cups dry red wine
  • Italian bread (for dippin')

Directions
  1. Cut Sausage into bite size pieces and cook in olive oil for about 10 minutes on stovetop till done.
  2. Cut vegetables into bite size pieces
  3. Using a large pot, combine sausage, vegetables and minced garlic.
  4. You can add additional spices to your liking.
  5. Add 2 Cups red wine.
  6. Place pot in oven for 1 1/4 hours, at 325.
  7. Serve hot, with bread and assorted cheese.
  8. P.S The juices are great for dunkin'
