Peppered Lemon Shrimp Pasta Recipe

This has the most wonderful bright taste! We smiled the whole time we were eating. From the Land O Lakes real butter box.

Ingredients
- 1 lb raw unpeeled shrimp
- 6-8oz noodles
- 1/4 cup (4 T) unsalted butter
- 3/4 cup chopped white onion
- 3-4 T lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp cayenne
- OR
- instead of salt and red pepper, I used a tsp Tony Chachere's Creole Seasoning
Directions
- Peel and devein shrimp; set in fridge.
- Cook noodles and drain.
- Meanwhile, melt butter in pan; add onion and saute for a couple minutes.
- Add shrimp and saute till pink.
- Turn heat down to very low.
- Stir in lemon juice and seasonings.
- Add noodles.
- I served this with Fireraven's Baked Parmesan Tomatoes, and it was a truly excellent meal!
