How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350F.
  • Wash and peel potatoes.
  • Cut into large, thick french fry wedges.
  • Line a 9x13 baking pan with foil.
  • Pour the oil in the pan.
  • Put the potato wedges in the pan and toss them in the oil (use your hands).
  • Shake the pan to distribute the potatoes evenly.
  • Sprinkle with sea salt.
  • Bake for 20 minutes, or until fries are the golden brown color you prefer.

    I don't know why, but this didn't work for me. After 50 minutes the potatoes were done but were not crispy or brown. I also had a hard time getting them off the foil. Luckily, I had deep fried some fish and finished them up in that oil to get them crispy. I put this in IMI on 11/28/14
