I always put cinnamon in our chili made with ground turkey. I won 2nd place at our church Chili-cook off and I won a huge bottle of TUMS!!
Great recipe!!

It's the only recipe I know that has raw hamburger being boiled in water...and it's very good!

I love Cincinnati chili, but my recipe is way different. Will try this one for sure (it's easier!). Have to admit I'm skeptical about boiling the raw ground beef, but I'll take your word for it & try it!

Living out here in the Old West (Washington State), I've never had Cincinatti chili, but have always wanted to try it. Looking for an authentic recipe is difficult though, because I don't know what it's supposed to taste like! I should be able to trust your advice (and recipe), since you 'know' how it's supposed to taste. Thanks! - Natalie
