How to make it

  • Heat oven to 375. Unroll dough and seperate into 8 triangles.
  • Place about 10 chocolate chips on the bottom third of each triangle and roll the dough up around the chocolate.
  • Transfer the croissants to a baking sheet(lined with parchment paper,if desired,for easier cleanup)
  • Bake until golden brown,12 to 14 minutes. Serve warm or at room temperature.

    These were really easy and quick. I used a dark chocolate bar that I chopped up. I think I could have added more chocolate but that's not the recipes fault. The chocolate mixes well with the crescent rolls. Added my picture, too!

    Ohhhh yess! Quick and wonderful! Hey--do you remember back in the 80's when Pepperidge Farms made croissants with strawberry filling and chocolate filling? You bought 'em in the freezer section and baked them at home. Really flaky croissants with fillings....mmmmm! --Kn0x--
