The most powerful word today "Google". Type in broasted chicken and many articles. This was also very informative as was the info listed above. This is all fun stuff to learn. JJ

I just heard the term when I saw Ravenseye's new recipe for Broasted Chicken posted earlier today. And hey, if she wants to call it Broasted Chicken, who are we to correct her!

I am with Auntybea. She fried then roasted her chicken in this recipe. I am all for learning new methods. She can call it anything she wants as long as its delicious. :)

Actually Auntybea and dandelion I am not correcting anyone, I am sharing information for the people who care to know the proper definition of the word. We had recently had a debate over the word (because it was used in an episode of West Wing) while dining with friends which is why I have the information in the first place. I surely didn't mean to offend anyone.
