These can be whipped up in a matter of minutes and they are always a hit!!

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter - NO substitutes!!
- 2 cups firmly-packed dark brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 1/4 cups all purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- in large saucepan, melt 1 stick of butter.
- Stir in remaining ingredients in order listed above
- Spread in lightly greased and floured 9 in X 13 in pan
- Bake for 25 minutes
- Insert knife in center of mixture
- If it comes out clean, they are done
- When cool, cut in 1 1/2 inch squares.
