How to make it

  • cut kielbasa in 1/2 inch rounds or on the bias for long oval pieces.
  • put in baking dish
  • melt about 3 sticks of butter and add 1/4 bag of brown sugar. (for myself, I love brown sugar..so i'd use half the bag.)
  • pour butter/sugar mixture over the top of kielbasa and make sure evenly distibuted.
  • cover pan with foil and place in preheated 350 degree oven.
  • bake for about fifteen min to absorb flavors. remember that you don't have to cook kielbasa that long because it's already pre cooked!

This is going to a tailgate tomorrow. I think these flavors are fabulous together, and the sugar carmelizes so beautifully...it is delicious! GO PATRIOTS!

This sounds great, I can just imagine the flavor. I have a question, what would you suggest to go with it? You got my 5 forks for a very good post.....Bob

My niece brought something similar (but with little smokies) to a family buffet and it was incredibly tasty - so easy, and the flavors just blended together perfectly...I am a big fan of "sweet and salty", so this is right up my "tastes of choice" - thanks mocha!
