How to make it

  • Combine milk, cream cheese, butter, salt and pepper in saucepan.
  • Cook over low heat; stirring constantly, until blended.
  • Drain corn well; stir into cream cheese mixture, heating through.
  • Serve immediately.

    A friend of mine makes something like this whenever we eat at her house. I've always loved it, but always forget to ask for the recipe, so I'm glad I came across this. I can't wait to try it out.

    I made this recipe. It was pretty good and really easy! It tastes like a "fresher" version of creamed corn because all the corn kernels are still whole. (Unlike the mushed up version in a can of creamed corn.) Good recipe!

    I think it's one 3 oz. pkg cream cheese. There isn't such thing as a 13 oz pkg of cream cheese...not that I know of anyway. ;o)
