Cute story I must share...My brother who lives in Santa Barbara, CA, actually KNOWS HER! She takes her car to the dealership where he is the General Manager of Parts Department and has known her for years! He told her it's been my favorite candy since I was a little girl...so, She signed a special piece of note paper, placed the note, and a P.Pattie in a special little bag and gave it to my brother to give to me!!! Her name actually IS Pattie, and she's now in her 90's! My brother says it's so cute because she carries an old, yellowed news paper article of her story, and how her father named the candy after her. As old as the article is, she's had it laminated to keep it preserved. She's just the sweetest little lady, and he adores her!
