Ingredients

How to make it

  • Bring water to boil for pasta - cook according to directions
  • Meanwhile in large saute pan, add cream of broccoli soup, chicken broth, and ham and bring to boil
  • Reduce to simmer and add broccoli
  • Add thyme and garlic seasoning
  • Remove from heat and add cream cheese (I use back of large spoon pressing against cream cheese and go in circular motion till incorporated)
  • Put back on simmer
  • Add dijon
  • No need to salt because of the ham, soup and cheese
  • When pasta's done, drain and add to pot
  • Add cheddar and stir till melted
  • Serve and enjoy!

This has got to be the creamiest dish I have ever made, omg! It was SO GOOD! I had some ham steaks in the freezer so I used those, and for the cream of broccoli soup I used this recipe Make It Yourself Condensed Cream Of Soups I opted for fresh garlic cause I didn't have the seasoning and used rotini pasta. Just delicious! Thanks! My IMI review Creamy Ham And Broccoli Pasta

This looks good even with that can o broccolli soup. Actually I like cream of broccolli in the can, one of the few I do like.

I forgot to say, to make it thicker, add more cream cheese or cheddar, and if too thick, add some milk or more chicken broth.
