Toffee Apples

This is a quick and easy recipe. The kids will love to eat apples with this stuff!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter shopping list
- 2 cups dark brown sugar shopping list
- 1 cup white corn syrup shopping list
- 2 tablespoons water shopping list
- 14-oz can sweetened condensed milk shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 2 dozen apple slices(We love the granny smith apples!) shopping list
How to make it
- Melt butter
- Add all other ingredients but vanilla
- Stir until thick, in double boiler over moderate heat
- Add vanilla
- Serve toffee in a chafing dish over flame
- Arrange bite size apple slices attractively on tray for dipping
- Apple slices should be cut ahead of time and placed in some Sprite for a few minutes to prevent them from browning.
