Ingredients
  • 2 1/2  cups  graham cracker crumbs
  • 3/4  cup  melted butter
  • 4  cups  confectioner's sugar
  • 16  ounces  cream cheese
  • 8  ounces  crushed pineapple
  • 3  medium  bananas, quartered
  • 12  ounces  Cool Whip, thawed
  • 8    maraschino cherries, halved
  • 1/4  cup  chocolate syrup
  • 1/2  cup  pecan halves

Directions
  1. Blend the melted butter or margarine with the graham crackers and press into the bottom of one 9x12 inch pan.
  2. Blend the confectioner's sugar and the cream cheese together until smooth.
  3. Spread over the graham cracker crumb layer.
  4. Layer the crushed pineapple and the bananas over the cream cheese layer.
  5. Then spread the whipped topping over the top.
  6. Decorate with maraschino cherry halves.
  7. Drizzle chocolate syrup over the top and sprinkle with pecans.
  8. Chill for at least 4 hours then serve.

I LOVE your recipe but believe me when I say, I can't do the splits LOL My wee little grandson can though and it makes my stomach do flip flops when I see him ;) Great recipe and it's a keeper!
P.S. Now I can show my grandson how his Grandma can do the splits!

I CANT DO THE SPLITS EITHER BUT A BIG HEAVE HO AT IT HA HA HA .........


I'm going to make this for our weekend at the coast this Friday. Instead of Cool Whip I want to use whipped cream.

However, I have a situation: I have a whipped cream maker that uses a Nitrous Oxide cylinder. Last week I put the whipping cream into the container, screwed on the lid and added the nitrous oxide cylinder.

It must have been defective because when I pushed the lever nothing happened. Soooooooooooooo I added another cylinder of Nitrous oxide and still nothing happened.

The last time I unscrewed the lid when there was a charge in the container whipped cream flew all over the kitchen and was hanging from my eyelashes.

Do you have any suggestions to remedy this situation? I'm afraid if I unscrew the container it will explode!
