Succulent Country Ribs

- 3 to 4 Ibs. country-style pork ribs shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. oil shopping list
- 1/2 cup mild soy sauce shopping list
- 1/3 cup catsup shopping list
- 1 tsp. dry mustard shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. brown sugar, packed shopping list
- 1 clove garlic, minced or pressed shopping list
- 1/4 tsp. black pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp. chili powder shopping list
- Few dashes hot pepper sauce shopping list
- cayenne pepper, optional shopping list
- 2 oranges, unpeeled, thinly sliced celery leaves for garnish, optional shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 325.F
- Cut off excess fat from ribs.
- Heat oil. Brown ribs. Place them in a roasting pan.
- Combine soy sauce, catsup, mustard, brown sugar, garlic, black
- pepper, chili powder, hot pepper sauce and cayenne.
- Pour sauce over ribs, turning to coat evenly.
- Cover with foil and bake for 45 to 50 min.
- Uncover. Spoon sauce over ribs. Leave uncovered and bake 45 to 50 min. longer until ribs are tender, a rich brown and begin to crisp.
- Serve on a large platter, spooning extra sauce over ribs.
- Garnish with orange slices and celery leaves, if desired.
