Turtles Colcannon Potatoes

- 4 Large russet potatoes shopping list
- 1/2 stick butter (4Tbsp) shopping list
- 1/4 cup Half&Half shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped cabbage shopping list
- Fresh Chopped thyme (1Tsp) shopping list
- Fresh chopped rosemary (1Tsp) shopping list
- Fresh chopped parsley (2Tbsp) shopping list
- salt & Fresh Grounded pepper to taste. shopping list
How to make it
- Peal and chop up potatoes in to 2 in. chunks boil in med size pan till done
- While Pots are cooking saute Cabbage in the butter on Med Low heat till cabbage is tender do not brown butter. (set aside)
- Strain Potatoes once done and put in a large bowl and mash them
- Add all ingredients and mix well by hand add salt and pepper to taste.

I made this once a long time ago, and it's really good, although I never tried it with the herbs. This sounds a lot better than the recipe I tried. Not to answer for turtle66 or anything, but I don't think the half & half would make this dish terribl...more
