This is a tradtional greek appetizer served with warm homemade pita bread or as a side to sandwiches - its thick and rich and tastes the best when you use the greek yogurt

For a nice variation, try adding 1/4 Tsp dried mint instead of or in addition to the cumin.

Definitely mint over cumin, never had cumin in a greek or mediterranean tzatziki.
Also, to make this properly, you need to thoroughly drain the yogurt, and then chill it. As is, there is too much moisture to reach the proper consistency.
