Smothered Chicken Breasts Recipe
Really good, but for a treat as it has a lot of butter and cheese. But REALLY good.

Ingredients
  • 6 - Chicken breasts - halved
  • 8 oz. - Seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 can - Cream of Chicken soup
  • 4 oz. - White wine
  • 12 slices - American cheese
  • 1 stick - Butter (you can cut this down some)

Directions
  1. Put chicken breasts in 9x13 baking dish.
  2. Place a slice of cheese on top of each breast.
  3. Mix the soup with the wine and pour over chicken.
  4. Smother with bread crumbs.
  5. Melt butter and drizzle over the top.
  6. Bake uncovered for 1 3/4 hours to 2 hours at 325.
