Baked Onions Recipe

Ingredients

1/2 cup butter

6 medium Vidalia Onions, sliced

1 can cream chicken soup

1/2 cup milk

Salt & pepper

3/4 cup Swiss cheese

French bread

Directions

Preheat oven to 350. Butter 2-quart baking dish. Melt butter; add onions. Saute. Transfer to dish. Combine soup, milk , salt & pepper. Pour over onions. Put cheese on top;bake 10 minutes. Remove from oven, put thin slices of bread,buttered, on topof onions. Bake another 10 minutes until golden brown.
