Ingredients

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees
  • Grease cookie sheet
  • Mix cheeses, bacon, salt, garlic and chili powder together.
  • Fill each half of jalapeno with cheese filling
  • Top each pepper with the crushed Cheezits
  • For Spicy peppers bake for 20 minutes
  • For Medium heat bake for 30 minutes
  • For Mild peppers bake for 40 minutes
  • Best when served immediately
  • Be prepared to make more!

    These sound wonderful. I love poppers. I am making these tonight because I have all the ingredients because I made similar ones last night for Monday Night Football. Have to use Ritz crackers though. Thanks and I hope you are still doing well physically.

    My jalapeno peppers are really growing like crazy...this sounds like a great recipe to try. We love using them for my Jalapeno Pepper Jelly and appetizer dishes. This is definetely a keeper...great post.

    Ohhhh....so if you cook them longer they get milder??? Wow! I had no idea! That must be why the peppers you get at Sonic are sweet and mild then. Hmmm...I'll make these one night for "Lost" night for my son and I. His dad won't eat hot things and he will love these!--Kn0x--
