Ingredients

How to make it

  • First fill a large pot with cold water and bring to a boil add the beans and the salt and boil for 30n minutes. While the pot is boiling, make the sauce.
  • After 30 minutes has passed, add the pasta and cook until aldente.
  • For the sauce:
  • In a saucepan, add the oil and the butter, pine nuts the garlic and the onion.
  • Sauté until garlic is soft about 6 minutes add the wine and some of the pasta water
  • Using a slotted spoon remove the pasta and the beans to the sauce pan and ad more liquid it should be a little on the watery side
  • Finish the dish by adding the thin strips of red bell peppers
  • Enjoy

    This sounds like a great pasta fagioli! I'm not sure I'll be able to find nutritional yeast. What can I sub for that?
