Ingredients
  • 4 large baking potatoes
  • ___________________
  • 1 Tbsp chili powder
  • 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 egg white
  • ___________________
  • cooking spray

Directions
  1. Preheat oven- 450*
  2. Peel and slice potatoes into "meaty" wedges or slices.
  3. ___________________
  4. Mix powders and salt together in a large bowl or pan (to accomodate the potaoes)
  5. Wisk in egg whites.
  6. Coat potatoes in egg white mixture thoroughly
  7. ___________________
  8. Place on sprayed cookie sheet
  9. Bake 30-40 mins., or until tender (Check after 30 mins. for tenderness.)

This sounds great. I'm always looking for a different way to prepare the old tuber.
I'll bet other flavor combos can be conjured up and utilized in this low fat method.

Frank is a dear ole' friend, and former boss, whose wife made sure he'd follow his low-fat diet plan for the health of his heart. Apparently she was good at finding tasty foods that didn't seem like they were "low fat." I've used this off and on for years when we need a change from the ordinary.
