How to make it

  • Slice cucumber(thin to medium slices). Core jalapeno and habanero peppers,removing seeds,then slice into good size chunks. Cut cloves of garlic into good size chunks. Mix all the above and put into a 1Qt. mason jar.
  • Mix vinegar,salt,pepper and oil in saucepan. Boil ,when it comes to a boil,place into mason jar with other ingredients. Seal jar,let cool,and thenstore in refrigerator for 24 hours before eating.
  • Note: When you start running out of cuke slies in the jar,cut up another cuke and add it to the jar. Let sit 24 hours

    I like hot and sweet pickles, I'll have to give this a try and see if I can eat just hot!! I do like pickled jalapenos, so this must be a close cousin. Thanks for the post.
