This makes for a great and fast meal for a weekend get together

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 lb Beef roast
  • 1/2 Onion diced
  • 1/2 Bell pepper diced
  • 5 oz Hickory smoked Worcestershire
  • 2 T Peanut oil
  • 1 t Seasoning salt
  • 3 T Mayonnaise
  • 8 Swiss cheese sliced
  • 2 Soft French bread

Directions
  1. The roast should be slightly frozen for best results in cutting, as this allows you to slice the roast very thin.
  2. Place sliced roast in bowl with Worcestershire sauce for 15 to 20 minutes.
  3. While meat is marinating Sauté onions, bell peppers and 1/2 tsp of seasoning salt in peanut oil.
  4. Remove vegetables from skillet and cook meat in skillet until just browned adding remaining seasoning salt.
  5. Add the onions and bell peppers to meat and allow to cook for another 10 minutes.
  6. Place French bread open face under heat under broiler until crisp.
  7. Place meat mixture on top of the bread, cover with Swiss cheese, and broil until cheese has melted.
  8. Add mayonnaise and serve with leftover juices. Yeah Baby

I love poboys ... love this recipe i do mine a little different i sear and cook my roast first then slice it thinly and put it back in the aujus and simmer until tender. you have my 5

Okay Grizz this is a 5* recipe. I do mine with coked Bef rump in gravy then use PoBoy bread . There is a bakery that makes it here. Then I dress the POBoy bread Thats cajun for letuce,tomatoes,pickles m ayo and gravy. This is a sloppy dish but we here in New O'awlins eat crawfsh with our fingers so we love it.
