In stead of using store bought pita chips, if you have on pita bread , brush with garlic oil toast them in the oven until golden brown on both sides and toss in the salad, this way it will give it a good flavor. Restaraunts pan fry the bread with olive oil, that way they stay fresh and crispy longer.

That sounds like a great idea for the upcoming warm days, here in Switzerland we have still a lot of rainy days, but also hot parts of the day - I bet it is a good party salad also, I will try it out Saturday when there is a big summerparty in the school of my kids - Thanks for sharing!
