Durban Rice

- 1 cup long grain brown rice shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/2 tbsp ground turmeric shopping list
- 1 tbsp brown sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon shopping list
- 1/4 cup Thompson raisins shopping list
- 3 1/4 cups water shopping list
How to make it
- Bring all ingredients to a boil in a medium saucepan.
- Reduce to a simmer, cover and cook 50 minutes.
- Remove from heat and let stand 10 minutes, fluff with a fork and serve.
