Chipotle Chicken Tacos

- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil shopping list
- 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into 1-inch pieces shopping list
- 12 strips red bell pepper shopping list
- 12 strips green bell pepper shopping list
- 1 small can green chiles shopping list
- 1 cup chopped onions shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 2 teaspoons chili powder shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 cup chicken broth shopping list
- 3 tablespoons (1 large) fresh squeezed lime juice shopping list
- 4 teaspoons Tabasco chipotle pepper sauce shopping list
- 2 teaspoons grated lime zest shopping list
- 6 (8-inch) flour or (6-inch) corn tortillas shopping list
- GARNISHES shopping list
- 1 large tomato, chopped shopping list
- sliced black olives shopping list
- shredded lettuce shopping list
- sour cream shopping list
- guacamole shopping list
- salsa shopping list
How to make it
- Heat vegetable oil in 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chicken, peppers, can green chiles and onion; cook until browned on all sides (about 5 minutes), stirring frequently.
- Reduce heat to medium.
- Stir in garlic, chili powder and salt; cook 1 minute.
- Add chicken broth, lime juice, Tabasco Chipotle Pepper Sauce and lime zest.
- Heat to boiling on high heat.
- Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Spoon chicken onto platter.
- Serve with warmed flour or corn tortillas and garnishes
