This mix lasts forever, and is awesome for coating eggplant, veggie burgers, tofu or tempeh slices before baking or pan-frying them! If you don't like it spicy, leave out the cayenne pepper. From Fresh in Toronto. Serving size = 1 tbsp.

  • 1 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 cup wheat germ (for a GF option use rice bran)
  • 2 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp fine salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper (optional)

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a small bowl.
  2. Store in an airtight container.
