Coconut Dump Cake Recipe
Love those dump cakes, quick and easy. Always good to fix when you want a fast dessert.

Ingredients
  • 1 package yellow cake mix
  • 1 large can pineapple, undrained
  • 1 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 stick butter, melted
  • 1 cup coconut

Directions
  1. Pour pineapple into a lightly greased 13x9-inch baking pan. Sprinkle
  2. the coconut over, then top with the dry cake mix. Pour melted butter
  3. over top, then sprinkle with nuts.
  4. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 40 minutes, or until lightly browned.

Henrie thanks for the recipe,I sure like making the dump cakes as they are so easy and good,of course the obvious eating them.I made the mistake recently when I baked a peach one the recipe stated to bake at 325 degrees,I thought it was done as the nuts were brown,but the cake part seemed so gooey.
I usually cut the butter into thin pats and place over the entire cake,usually use 2 sticks of butter.
Just melting one stick didn't seem like it was enough to cover a 9x13"pan when I tried that.


I have to make this!


We love dump cake and this sounds so good... we usually make mixed berry(raspberry, blackberry and blueberry) with chocolate cake when we have guests and there is never any left, we'll be sure to try this one soon, thanks for sharing.
