Ingredients

How to make it

  • Add 2 tablespoons salt to 4 to 6 quarts rapidly boiling water; add macaroni gradually.
  • Cook , uncovered, stirring occasionally , until tender; drain.
  • Combine macaroni, sour cream, cottage cheese, sliced scalllions, 1 teaspoon salt and remaining seasonings.
  • Mix well.
  • Turn into a 3 quart greased casserole, covered.
  • Bake in preheated oven 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.
  • Uncover, sprinkle Cheddar cheese around edges of casserole and bake for 10 to 15 minutes longer.
  • Garnish with whole scallions.
  • Yeild: 8 to 10 servings.

    mmmmmm - I'm at work...stop making me hungrier than I already am! I'll have to try this - how can it not be good with sour cream?!?
