Something Fishy

If this isn't pot-luck , I don't know what is. This is one of those "make it up as you go" recipes. but it turned out 'FANTASTIC'
Ingredients
- OK! So I've got some fish (What can I do with it?) shopping list
- Let's fry an onion first shopping list
- A few quartered potatoes should go well with it shopping list
- Haven't I got a half a bottle of wine somewhere? shopping list
- A tomato or two can't hurt either. shopping list
- Maybe I'll add a "THING" of tomato puree ? shopping list
- How about two or three carrots? shopping list
- lemon juice from half a lemon always goes well with fish. shopping list
- I'll also add a few cloves of garlic shopping list
- Maybe a sliced red pepper ? shopping list
- WOW! This is getting interesting shopping list
- Here comes the Tabasco. (A few more drops). shopping list
- For spices, this time I'll try Bayleaves, cumin, and black pepper shopping list
- OK. So what else can go in? shopping list
- Add a bit of this and some of that. shopping list
How to make it
- OK! So we'll fry up the Onion in some oil
- Put the fish on top
- Put all the other stuff around it
- Throw in all the spices. (NOT LIKE THAT! Spread 'em out)
- Pour in the wine. Save one glass for yourself.
- Pour in the lemon juice and Tabasco
- Add water until everything is almost covered
- Cover pot and put on low heat or in low oven .
- Scratch your head for about two and a half hours or watch TV
- Enjoy!....................................... I DID!
