Alabama Chocolate-Praline Jumbo Christmas Mud Squares

- 3/4 cup graham cracker crumbs shopping list
- 3/4 cup finely chopped pecans shopping list
- 1/4 cup firmly packed brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter, melted shopping list
- 1 (12 oz.) jar caramel ice cream topping shopping list
- 3 Tbsp. flour shopping list
- 1 tbsp butter shopping list
- 4 (1 oz.) squares unsweetened chocolate shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups sugar shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 4 eggs, beaten shopping list
- 1 tsp. vanilla shopping list
- 1 can chocolate frosting shopping list
- pecan halves shopping list
- maraschino cherries shopping list
How to make it
- In a medium bowl, combine the first 4 ingredients, stirring well.
- Press mixture into the bottom of a 7x11" baking pan.
- Bake at 350* for 6-8 minutes.
- Cool slightly.
- Combine caramel topping and 3 Tbsp. flour, stirring well.
- Spread topping on crust, within 1/4" from the edge of pan. Set aside.
- Combine the 1 tbsp. butter and the unsweetened chocolate in a heavy saucepan; cook over low heat until melted.
- Stir in sugar, 1 cup flour, eggs, and vanilla; pour over caramel in pan.
- Bake at 350* for 50 minutes.
- Cool slightly and spread with chocolate frosting.
- Garnish with pecan halves and cherries.
- Set cool completely.
- Cut into 16 bars.

Everyday is Christmas.. but I sure shouldn't eat these everyday.....Ablounge will get a work out! Sounds wonderful!
