This cheesey, custardy mac n' cheese is simple and satisfies that comfort food need we all get.

Ingredients
  • 1 lb. Macaroni - cooked
  • 2 tsp. Butter
  • 2 Eggs - beaten
  • 1 tsp. Salt
  • 2 tsp. Dry Mustard
  • 2 cups Whole Milk
  • 6 cups Sharp Cheddar - shredded
  • Fresh Grated Nutmeg to taste (optional)

Directions
  1. Stir butter and eggs in hot macaroni.
  2. Add cheese to macaroni mixture. Stir to combine.
  3. Put macaroni mixture into a large greased casserole.
  4. In small bowl mix salt and dry mustard with 2 Tbl. hot water until dissolved. Add hot water mixture to milk and stir.
  5. Pour milk mixture over the mac and cheese.
  6. Top with a bit of fresh grated nutmeg if desired.
  7. Bake uncovered at 350 for 45 minutes.
