Squash Casserole Recipe

This is delicious and is requested at holidays.It's also simple to make. There's never any leftovers. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked squash, drained, with all the water squeezed out (I saute zucchini and yellow squash til soft and broken down; then wrap in a towel and squeeze out water)
- 1 large onion
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 1 cup ritz crackers (plusmore for topping)
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- black pepper, to taste
- 1 cup grated sharp cheddar
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Saute onion in butter 5 minutes
- Remove from pan and mix all ingredients together
- Pour into buttered dish and top with additional cracker crumbs
- Bake for 30 minutes

Ohhhh...Im gonna make this for a side with dinner this week..I love this recipe....Thanks so much.....we have alot in common...I too love to cook for my family and friends and that is how I shower them with love...LOLOL...they say ...the best way to a mans heart is thru his stomach...hahahahahahhaa.....all of my friends love my cooking so we have alot of company on holidays....they call ahead of time and ask what Im doing...LOLOLOOL.
