Squash Casserole

This is delicious and is requested at holidays.It's also simple to make. There's never any leftovers. Give it a try. You won't be disappointed.
Ingredients
- 3 cups cooked squash, drained, with all the water squeezed out (I saute zucchini and yellow squash til soft and broken down; then wrap in a towel and squeeze out water) shopping list
- 1 large onion shopping list
- 4 Tbsp butter shopping list
- 1 cup Ritz crackers (plusmore for topping) shopping list
- 1/2 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
- black pepper, to taste shopping list
- 1 cup grated sharp cheddar shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Saute onion in butter 5 minutes
- Remove from pan and mix all ingredients together
- Pour into buttered dish and top with additional cracker crumbs
- Bake for 30 minutes
