Swampland Meatballs

- 1-1/2 Lbs. lean ground venison hamburger ( or ground chuck) shopping list
- 1/2 Lb. whole hog sausage (hot) shopping list
- 1 egg (beaten) shopping list
- 2 tbsp. dehydrated onion shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. rubbed sage shopping list
- 1 Tsp. dry mustard shopping list
- 1/4 cup all purpose flour shopping list
- 1/2 Tsp. sea salt shopping list
- 1 Tsp. coarse ground black pepper shopping list
- 1/4 cup ketchup shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce shopping list
- 1 clove garlic - crushed or minced. shopping list
- SAUCE: shopping list
- 2 cans cream of mushroom soup shopping list
- 1/2 cup sour cream shopping list
- 1/2 cup whipping cream shopping list
- 1 Tsp. teriyaki sauce shopping list
- 1/4 Tsp. hot sauce shopping list
- 1/4 cup evaporated milk shopping list
How to make it
- PRE-HEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES
- Mix the meat , the ground beef or venison with the sausage
- Add the remaining ingredients to the meat mixture.
- Mix well
- Form into meatballs and place in a baking dish lined in aluminum foil (for easy clean-up)
- Bake meatballs uncovered for 45 minutes, turning once halfway through. until meatballs are brown and crispy on the outside.
- In a large pot, mix all the ingredients for the sauce.
- Bring sauce to a boil, then turn down heat on low.
- Place meatballs in pot with sauce and simmer for 45 minutes.
- You can serve these meatballs over rice or pasta.
- Or you could put em' on a slice of bread, they are good anyway you eat them.
