How to make it

  • PRE-HEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES
  • Mix the meat , the ground beef or venison with the sausage
  • Add the remaining ingredients to the meat mixture.
  • Mix well
  • Form into meatballs and place in a baking dish lined in aluminum foil (for easy clean-up)
  • Bake meatballs uncovered for 45 minutes, turning once halfway through. until meatballs are brown and crispy on the outside.
  • In a large pot, mix all the ingredients for the sauce.
  • Bring sauce to a boil, then turn down heat on low.
  • Place meatballs in pot with sauce and simmer for 45 minutes.
  • You can serve these meatballs over rice or pasta.
  • Or you could put em' on a slice of bread, they are good anyway you eat them.
  • Enjoy!

    My word! I thought this was gonna be just another meatball recipe - you tugged at my heart with the deer and whole hog!!!! I gotta give this a go - and freezer is stacked with everything I need too.... maaaan please!!!
