How strict is the 5-days cycle? Would I be able to wait one more day and use the starter on the 11th day rather than the 10th?

Idk, I see these long, long, really long recipes that go on for days and it seems a little daunting and yet I am sooooo intrigued by how it will turn out. Have you seen the friendship cake recipe? If you google it and give it a read, you would think that you are creating hooch instead of a cake. Try it and thanks for the post and challenge.
