I first ate this cake in 1983 at a women's luncheon. Lovely! The frosting is that extra added secret.

I am sitting on a case of zucchini and have already made bread, stuffed it, made zucchini soup... and then came across this. Perfect for a lazy weekend. THANKS

I love zucchini, but I'm glad I don't have to make pickles, bread, stuff it or anything else unless I want to anymore. I don't miss it.
This sounds like something I very much want to try...sour cream frosting.....very nice!

I adore zucchini cakes - so moist and flavorful. This is an interesting frosting (never tried a sour cream frosting), and I can't wait to try it on this cake. Thank you!
