Ingredients
  • Zest of 3 navel oranges
  • 3 Cups of vodka
  • 1-1/2 Cups of superfine granulated sugar

Directions
  1. Blot all of the zest in paper towel to remove any excess of natural oil.
  2. Put peel into a 4 cup screw top jar.
  3. Add 2 cups of vodka and close jar tight!
  4. Store in a cook, dark place for 2 days or until vodka has absorbed the flavor and color of the zest.
  5. Strain the peel from the vodka.
  6. Place vodka back in jar and add the sugar; shake vigourously until the sugar dissolves.
  7. Add remaning cup of vodka and stir until liquid becomes clear.
  8. Close jar; store in a cool, dark place at least one week to age.
  9. Enjoy!
