Ingredients

How to make it

  • Drain the tuna, break it into chunks and mix with the mash potatoes
  • set aside
  • heat 1 TBSP. of the butter in small skillet
  • add jalapeno, celery and the onion
  • saute until the onion is soft.
  • add this to the tuna mixture
  • stir in the egg ...blend until mixed
  • form mixture into 8 patties
  • roll the patties in the cracker crumbs
  • chill for 30 minutes in the refrigerator
  • heat the remaining butter in a large skillet
  • fry patties until brown on both sides
  • drain and serve
  • .................................................................
  • these are mild .... add more jalapeno for hotter flavor
