How to make it

  • Mix the melted butter and sugar.
  • Add beaten egg and milk alternately with dry ingredients.
  • Cut/chop cranberries and add last.
  • Bake in 13 x 9 greased pan at 350 for 30 minutes.

  • Topping
  • Mix butter, sugar and cream in saucepan, cooking until smooth.
  • Bring to boiling point and add vanilla.
  • Slice and serve up cake then pour warm sauce over each individual serving.
  • Add a dollup of fresh whipped cream if desired.
