Dirty Rice

- 2 Cups of rice shopping list
- 4 TBS of bacon fat shopping list
- 4 TBS of flour shopping list
- 2 medium onions, finely chopped shopping list
- 1 cup chopped celery shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic, minced shopping list
- 1/2 lbs ground beef shopping list
- 1/2 lbs ground pork shopping list
- 1 pound chicken giblets - liver, gizzards and hearts diced shopping list
- 1 beef bouillon cube shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
- 2 dried hot red peppers shopping list
- 1 tsp worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 1/2 tsp tobasco sauce shopping list
- salt and Pepper to taste shopping list
How to make it
- Cook rice according to package directions.
- Disolve the boullion cube in the water.
- Heat bacon fat and flour over medium heat until its well blended , you want to stir it all the time.
- Add your onions, celery, and garlic.
- When they are lightly browned add all of the meat and brown it well.
- Stir in the boullion cube that you put into the 1 cup of water and add the peppers, wocestershire, tobasco and salt and pepper.
- Cook it slowly for about 10 to 15 minutes, don't allow it to get too thick though, keep a close eye on it.
- Mix all of this with the cooked rice and serve hot!
