A bit of a cross between a brownie and a cake, this bar is quick and easy and the chips on top add a new flavor. These can be made with peanut butter chips, too, but I like this variation because it is just a bit more unexpected!

Yum Yum! These sound delicious. And I'm not a baker, but could be persuaded to make these. ;')

Hey Keni, I just made these. I overcooked mine (they are still very good). When you get a chance can you measure your jelly roll pan? I rarely cook with one, because I'm never sure exactly what size to use. I even googled it & they mention different sizes. I think I used one that was too big. Thanks!

Oh those do sound good - I'm guessing from the measurements that it's a 10x15 baking sheet? These will be a big hit with several of my family members, I'm sure!

Hey Scotdog...I'm sorry they were overcooked...I know all ovens are different as well as other factors, so I hate giving a time, but that's what mine took just this last time, but the springy-ness is important, more like a cake. And, yup, krum is right...mine was a 10X15 and it fills it. This is sweet and chocolatey, but not overly so for either. Thanks for tryin' 'em! :)

Thanks! I think I used the bigger one. I'll try again. That is good to know, I never know what to use when it says jelly roll pan.
