Turtles Jerk Chicken Recipe

My little spin on a recipe i got some where back in the day. I get rave reviews when ever i cook this one.. like to served this over steamed Jasmine Rice topped with my Mango Black Bean Salsa.....

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 8 green onions minced
- 1 whole bunch cilantro minced
- 6 garlic cloves minced
- 3 tablespoons fresh ginger minced
- 2 tablespoons fresh thyme minced
- 3 serrano chiles or jalapeno chiles with seeds minced
- 5 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 teaspoons ground allspice
- 4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 2 teaspoons ground nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons salt
- 2 teaspoons ground black pepper
- 4 teaspoons brown sugar
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- zest from juiced limes minced
- 3-4 lbs chicken
Directions
- Mix all ingredients together in a large container
- add chicken and marinate in refrigerator over night for best results
- bbq or grill over medium heat till juices run clear turning as needed
- or bake at 350 in a large baking pan for about 50 min give or take
- top with my Mango Black Bean Salsa.....
