Chocolate Molten Cakes

- 1 1/2 cups unsalted butter (room temperature) shopping list
- 12 ounces semisweet chocolate-coarsely chopped shopping list
- 8 Large egg yolks, plus 7 large eggs shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups Confectioners sugar shopping list
- 3/4 cup all purpose flour shopping list
- For Ramekins: shopping list
- butter shopping list
- Granulated sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350
- Butter 6 ramekins ( 6 ounce size)
- Sprinkle the butter ramekins with granulated sugar and tap out excess sugar
- In a double boiler set over barely simmering water, melt the butter and chocolate and then remove from heat.
- Beat eggs in a mixer with the whisk on low speed for about 2 minutes
- Continue to mix and add the chocolate mixture to the eggs, mix for another two minutes
- Add the flour and confectioners sugar to the mix and beat for 30 seconds or until well mixed on Medium speed
- Pour the batter in the ramekins leaving about a 1/4 of space from the top.
- Bake on a cookie sheet for 18 to 20 minutes.
- Remove from oven and turn upside down onto a plate immediately.
- Centers will be soft.
