Spinach Bacon Balls

- 1/3 cup hot water shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter, melted shopping list
- 2 10-ounce packages frozen chopped spinach, cooked and drained shopping list
- 2 cups herbed-seasoned stuffing mix shopping list
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese shopping list
- 1 clove garlic, minced shopping list
- 1/2 pound hot bulk sausage, browned and drained shopping list
- 2 eggs, lightly beaten shopping list
- 3/4 pound bacon shopping list
How to make it
- In a large bowl, stir hot water into butter
- Add spinach, stuffing mix, cheese, sausage, garlic, and eggs
- Mix well
- Chill one hour
- Preheat oven to 375
- Shape chilled mixture into 3/4 inch balls
- Cut bacon strips into thirds
- Wrap one piece around each spinach ball
- Place on a foil-lined baking sheet
- Bake 35 min., turning once
- These may be frozen and stored for future baking
- Serve warm-Makes 4 dozen
