How to make it

  • In a large bowl, stir hot water into butter
  • Add spinach, stuffing mix, cheese, sausage, garlic, and eggs
  • Mix well
  • Chill one hour
  • Preheat oven to 375
  • Shape chilled mixture into 3/4 inch balls
  • Cut bacon strips into thirds
  • Wrap one piece around each spinach ball
  • Place on a foil-lined baking sheet
  • Bake 35 min., turning once
  • These may be frozen and stored for future baking
  • Serve warm-Makes 4 dozen
