Ingredients

How to make it

  • Drain 2 cups of canned corn - reserve the liquid
  • Add milk to the liquid to make one cup
  • Sift 1 and 1/2 cups flour, 2 tsp, baking powder, 3/4 tsp. salt
  • In a separate bowl combine 1 egg beaten, milk mix, corn
  • Add dry ingrediants and mix together
  • Drop batter from a Tablespoon into a pot of hot oil
  • When lightly brown, turn fritters over and brown the other side.
  • Drain on paper towels and serve immediately
  • Goes well with chicken or ham

    Saw your post in the complaint dept. I don't see anything wrong with this recipe, as a matter of fact, I will put it on the menu this weekend. :)
