Creamy Dreamy Pasta Al Prosciutto E Asparagi Recipe

How to make it

  • Cook pasta according to package directions.
  • Wash asparagus and cut into 1-inch pieces.
  • Discard bottoms.
  • Heat oil in 12-inch skillet over medium heat.
  • Saute garlic and onion in oil for 3 to 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Add prosciutto and parsley and cook 3 more minutes.
  • Stir in cream and add asparagus; season with salt, pepper and nutmeg.
  • Heat to boiling, reduce heat to low and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Meanwhile, cook pasta according to package directions.
  • Drain well and toss in bowl with sauce.
  • Top with Parmesan cheese and serve.
  • Garnish individual servings with additional Parmesan cheese and fresh cracked black pepper

    So yummy and creamy! The nutmeg gives this such a unique but awesome flavor! Sorry, I did not use the dreamfields pasta recommended (even though I do have it), I wanted to use some awesome artichoke dried pasta that I found at a farmers market. It worked perfect with the flavors in this recipe. Thanks Mystic!
