Sweet Potato And Banana Casserole

This dish comes from CHINA ........its a little twist with the bananas but i made this a while back and it was delish.........hope you enjoy this........... courtesy international cooking
Ingredients
- 4 - medium sweet potatoes shopping list
- 6 - tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1-1/2 teaspoons salt shopping list
- 1/2- 1 -teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 4- bananas .sliced shopping list
- 3/4 - cup brown sugar shopping list
- 3/4 - cup orange juice shopping list
How to make it
- Cook the sweet potatoes in boiling water until tender but still firm.
- cool..........
- peel and slice 1/4 inch thick
- place in a buttered casserole dish in alternate layers, dotted with butter and sprinkled with salt ,with bananas sprinkled with cinnamon and brown sugar.
- end the top layer with bananas, dotted with butter.
- add orange juice.
- bake in a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes or until top is browned.
- makes 6 servings
- note i put some pecans on top of the one i made it was very good
